SCAD Alexander Hall Gallery presents “Isoland,” a thesis exhibition by M.F.A. Painting candidate Chenyi Sun. The exhibition explores the experience of loneliness as it relates to the modern urban environment. Sun’s meticulously rendered subjects and environments are an examination into the phenomenon of isolation despite the increasing population in urban centers. The artist explores the inner world of his subjects through paintings that fuse several oil painting techniques.
