CONSANGUINE is a two-person, fine art exhibition in Savannah, GA. The exhibition is comprised of works by artists Lauren La Bella and Ryan Day. The works included in this exhibition span across a variety of media from paintings, sculpture, installation to time-based media. While these artists are conceptually unrelated, they both navigate their practice by way of organic abstract forms through an innovative use of materials.

Lauren La Bella (b. 1993, Long Island, NY) is receiving a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA in March of 2016. She has participated in group exhibitions in Long Island, New York and Savannah, Georgia. La Bella has a background in fashion and photography; both of which heavily influence her work process, techniques, and materials. She is currently living and working in Savannah, Georgia, and will be returning to the New York area in the spring of 2016.

Ryan Day (b. 1993, United States) is receiving a BFA in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA in spring of 2016. He has exhibited in group exhibitions in Dallas, Texas, Savannah, Georgia as well as internationally while studying abroad in Lacoste, France. He paints abstractions based on memories, narratives, and experience. Currently, he lives and works in Savannah, Georgia.
