SCAD Museum of Art | Room 213 | Jan. 15, 11 a.m. to noon
While everyone needs money management skills, the approach to achieving financial security can be different for artists. Since we often are not working at a typical 9-to-5 job with benefits, people who work in the arts should be particularly mindful of the necessity to stay on top of the money side of a creative budget. Financial freedom makes it easier for artists to choose the projects that interest us the most, which in turn fulfills us creatively. In short, money and creative success are not mutually exclusive.
Join the “New Year, New Finances” workshop presented by the SCAD financial wellness program to learn the basics of budgeting, saving while in college and reducing your total student loan debt. Now is the time to start making good financial choices for the future.
This event is free and open to all SCAD students.
