Ann Haley (United States, b. 1991) will receive a BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, May 2014. Her first exhibition was in Lacoste, France in 2012. Her work has also been exhibited in Savannah, GA at Non-Fiction Gallery, Ashmore Gallery, and Gallery Improviso, where she was awarded Best in Show. Currently, Haley is exploring a relationship between performance interaction with video projection and large scale oil painting to investigate the threshold between the hidden and the exposed through systems of chance and reaction.
Mirielle Jefferson (United States, b. 1992) will complete her BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in the Fall of 2014. She has exhibited her work in several group exhibitions in Savannah, Georgia including shows at the Gustein Gallery and Ashmore Gallery. A number of her works are in the Permanent Collection of the Savannah College of Art and Design as well as in the private collection of Paula Wallace, the President of SCAD. In the Fall of 2014, Jefferson will be an artist-in-resident for two months at the Elizabeth Foundation of the Arts in New York City. Currently Jefferson is in the process of exploring the boundaries of realism and nonobjectivity through large scale paintings and installation.
Tim Kent (United States, b. 1991) will receive a BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA, May, 2014. Kent exhibited his work in a group exhibition at Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Overland Park, KS, 2010. His first solo exhibition was in Manhattan, New York, at the Classic Car Club Manhattan, 2013. He has also exhibited works in several group exhibitions in Savannah, GA. Recently, Kent completed a studio assistant position with artist, Will Penny, in which he helped create several SCADpad projects for Savannah College of Art and Design. Currently, Kent is exploring the relationship between art, design, and technology.
